Everything you need to stay in control.
Asset tracking, maintenance reminders, compliance checklists, document storage, QR codes, team roles, exports and a mobile PWA — designed for small teams that need to stop running operations on spreadsheets.
Ample Control is built around four simple ideas: a clean register of your assets, the documents attached to each one, the reminders that tell you what's next, and the checks you run to keep everything safe. Every feature below exists to make one of those four things easier.
We deliberately kept the feature list short. Small teams don't need an enterprise CMMS with hundreds of screens — they need a tool that holds the things they're already responsible for in one tidy, mobile-friendly place. Browse the features below, or jump to a specific one for a deeper guide.
Asset tracking
A clean, searchable register of every piece of equipment, vehicle, property or item — with location, condition, service history and documents attached.
Examples: Treadmills, vans, fire extinguishers, compressors, rental properties, staff certificates.
Read feature page →Maintenance reminders
Service intervals, renewal dates and recurring checks with email reminders that fire well before something is overdue.
Examples: Monthly extinguisher checks, annual PAT testing, quarterly machine service, MOT dates.
Read feature page →Compliance checklists
Repeatable inspection and safety-check templates with pass/fail logs, photos and an audit trail per check.
Examples: Daily gym cleaning, weekly walkaround, monthly fire door inspection, quarterly PUWER check.
Read feature page →Document storage
Certificates, manuals, insurance documents and inspection reports stored against the asset they belong to — not lost in someone's email.
Examples: Gas Safe CP12, EICR, PAT certificates, insurance schedules, equipment manuals.
Read feature page →QR codes
Print a tag for every asset. Scanning it opens the full record, lets anyone log a check, attach a photo or report a defect.
Examples: Sticker on each treadmill, plate on each van, label on each fire extinguisher.
Read feature page →Team roles
Owners, admins, members and viewers — so technicians, managers and external inspectors each see what they need and nothing else.
Examples: Manager full access, technicians log checks, accountant view-only.
Read feature page →Exports
One-click CSV and PDF exports ready to hand to insurers, auditors, accountants or your own management review.
Examples: Per-asset history, full register, certificate inventory, monthly check log.
Read feature page →Mobile PWA
Installable on any phone or tablet — no app store. Designed for checks done on the floor, in the yard or on a property visit.
Examples: Run a walkaround on a phone, scan a QR code and log a defect in 20 seconds.
Read feature page →How the features fit together
A new asset is added once. From that single record you attach the relevant documents — manual, warranty, certificate, insurance schedule. You set the reminders — annual service, monthly inspection, certificate expiry. You print a QR code label so anyone in the building can pull up the same record on their phone. When inspection or renewal time comes, the exports feature turns the whole history into a clean PDF or CSV.
That's the loop. Add the asset, attach the paperwork, set the dates, run the checks, export the evidence. Repeat for every piece of equipment, vehicle, property or staff record you're responsible for. The team-roles feature controls who can do what at each step.
What we deliberately don't do
We are not a procurement system. We are not a parts inventory tracker. We are not a CRM. We do not do real-time IoT integration with industrial sensors, and we are not pretending to replace a specialist enterprise CMMS for facilities teams of fifty plus. If those are the things you need, Ample Control is probably the wrong tool. If you need a calm place to keep equipment records, certificates, reminders and checks for a small team, we're a good fit.
Pair features with the right industry or use case
Each feature page links to the use cases it most often appears in. If you arrived knowing the problem you're trying to solve rather than the feature you're looking for, start from the use-cases hub or pick your industry instead — both routes end up at the same product.

Feature FAQs
Common questions about how the features actually work.
Do I need to use every feature?+
No. Most teams start with assets, reminders and document storage, then add checklists, QR codes and exports as they grow. The product is designed so each feature is useful on its own.
Can I track non-physical things, like staff certificates or insurance documents?+
Yes. An 'asset' in Ample Control just means anything you want to track — physical equipment, a property, a vehicle, a member of staff for certification purposes, or even a policy document. The same documents, reminders and checks workflow applies.
How do reminders get delivered?+
By email to the people you've assigned. The mobile PWA also shows what's due and overdue when you open it. We're planning push notifications as part of Phase 3 of the roadmap.
Can I attach photos to assets and checks?+
Yes. Photos of damage, photos of completed work and photos of a certificate can all be attached. This is especially useful for evidence on insurance and compliance records.
Is there an API?+
Not yet. CSV and PDF exports cover the most common integration needs (handing data to an accountant, insurer or auditor). A simple API is on the longer-term roadmap once core tracking is shipped.
