A calmer way to run the operational stuff.
Ample Control is a simple asset, maintenance and compliance tracker built for small teams. Read about why we exist, what we believe, and what's on the product roadmap.
Ample Control exists for the small teams that hold a lot together — small gyms, workshops, landlords, community spaces, vehicle fleets and the trades. The kind of operations where one person quietly ends up the unofficial keeper of certificates, service dates and safety checks, working off a spreadsheet that nobody else fully understands and a calendar full of reminders nobody else can see.
We started with maintenance tracking for small gyms and workshops because the pattern there is so clear: real equipment, real safety stakes, real cost when something is missed. A treadmill that wasn't serviced. A PAT test that lapsed. An insurance renewal that nobody chased. The same simple system — assets, documents, reminders, checks — naturally extends to landlord compliance (Gas Safe, EICR, smoke alarms), vehicle fleets (MOT, service intervals, daily walkaround checks), fire safety (extinguishers, alarms, emergency lighting), staff certificates and insurance renewals.
What we believe
Compliance shouldn't feel heroic. The right software makes the boring, predictable things actually boring and predictable — out of the way, on time, and quietly working in the background. We think enterprise systems weren't built for teams of three, and we think spreadsheets weren't built for anything you actually care about. Ample Control sits in the gap between those two.
We're also careful about what we promise. Software can help you track renewal dates, store evidence, keep records organised and remind the right person at the right time. It can't make you compliant on its own, and we don't pretend otherwise. Inspections, certifications and legal advice still come from qualified people. We're the layer underneath that keeps the paperwork honest.
Who Ample Control is for
We build for teams of one to about twenty-five people. Owner-operators, site managers, facilities leads, small letting agents, independent gym owners, garage workshops, community trusts, school caretakers, fire risk assessors, fleet coordinators. The common thread is that they take operational responsibility seriously, but they don't have a dedicated compliance team or a budget for enterprise software.
If you've ever opened a shared drive looking for a certificate you know is in there somewhere, or scrolled back through a year of WhatsApp to find a photo of a damaged piece of kit, Ample Control is built for you.

We'll keep this roadmap up to date as things ship. If you have an opinion about what should come next — especially if you're a small gym, workshop, landlord or fleet operator — we'd genuinely like to hear it.
How we work
Small team, small overhead, no investors pushing for growth at any cost. That shapes the product: we don't add features just to look bigger, we don't lock essentials behind upsells, and we keep the Free plan genuinely usable so you can prove value before paying.
Every message to hello@amplecontrol.com gets a real reply, usually within one business day. Bug reports get triaged the same week, and feature requests from paying customers go into a public-facing list we review monthly.
If any of that sounds like the kind of supplier you'd want, the best thing to do is start on the Free plan or have a look at how the product fits together.
